How it works

Before the event

At our initial conversation - we will get the essential information about your event: date, times, venue(s), expected number of guests, order of events etc. We'll request that you get in touch with your venue (if applicable) to get a convenient date and time for us to visit them prior to event. We will also ask for a booking deposit of £70 to secure our services which will cover the first hour of the photographer's time at your event. If you subsequently need to cancel your booking, this is refundable in full any time up to a month before your event and 50% refundable up to two weeks before.

A week before your event - we will speak again to make sure that everything is progressing as expected and to understand if there have been any changes to the arrangements. We’ll run through the order of the event, log any specific photos you want arranged (friends and family groups, birthday boy(s) and/or girls(s), cake cutting etc.) and finalise all the details. Please don’t feel you have to wait until this chat to let us know of changes, or to ask questions though.

At this point the balance of the photography cost needs to be settled (any additional time you request on the day will be charged after the event).

The cost for picture packs you wish to purchase will be discussed once you’ve had a chance to review the portfolio.

On the day

We'll arrive at the event’s location half an hour before the kick off. If you have any changes to your requirements, we will do our utmost to accommodate them on the day, just let us know. Equally, if you have any concerns at any point, please don’t hesitate to speak with us.

Should you require us to remain for longer than originally planned, this is absolutely fine but is subject to our flat rate of £40 for each additional (part) half hour.

At the end of the event we'll confirm how much (if any) additional time was required, pack our equipment and leave after and checking that you are happy for us to do so.

Viewing and purchasing your photos

We will aim to have your photos ready for viewing within 2 weeks of your event, but if for any reason it's going to be longer, we’ll let you know. When finished, we’ll drop you an email with a link to the portfolio which will be in a private area of our website. You can view these at your leisure and when ready, let us know which pictures you wish to buy and in what formats.

Printed pictures take approximately 2 weeks to produce from the point of ordering.

We also offer a range of products such as photo books, canvas prints, frames – please just ask.

We really like to speak with you to understand your exact requirements before quoting for events, however we understand that an idea of likely costs is useful. To work out the guide price for your event:

We charge a booking fee of £70 – this covers travel (up to 20 miles distance and 30 minutes travel time) and the first hour of the photographer’s time.
Estimate the number of hours you want the photographer present for in addition to the first – we charge a flat rate of £35 per (part) half hour

Once we’ve developed your pictures, we will contact you with details to access the private client area of this website where you can view the proofs.

When you’ve decided which pictures you would like, give us a ring to discuss placing your order. The price of bulk picture packages can be discussed should you wish to include all the images from your event as online digital files within the price of your package.
